Dear Parents,
I've been working with Room to Grow off and on for 13 years. As the lead teacher at RTG I help set up classrooms every month when we change the theme, I'm also in charge of training new teachers, and room arrangement. I obtained my CDA in 2013. As a preschool teacher I strive to give all the children a loving and caring environment where they can grow and learn. As the 4-5 year old preschool teacher I make sure the children are ready for a positive start in kindergarten. With the readiness skills children obtain at RTG they are able to confidently start kindergarten and excel in their schooling.
When I'm not at preschool I enjoy spending time with my own family, my is son 20 years old and my daughter is 13 years old, and cats named Rousey and Danger that I adopted from the local animal shelter. I enjoy the great outdoors as well (fishing, camping, going to the lake, or dipnetting in Chitna). When it's too cold to go out I enjoy reading, watching TV, spending time with friends and family, and cooking.
My goals for the future are to continue my education in early childhood and spending as much time as I can with my family, and if I'm lucky plan a fishing trip or two over the summer.
